Stress and flexibility analysis of a new 8″ diameter carbon steel steam piping system, running from a powerhouse boiler up to a tie-in point on an existing line at a pipe rack. After adding supports and restraints at the recommended locations, the piping configuration was verified to fully comply with ASME B31.3 stress and flexibility requirements, ensuring a safe and code compliant design ready for construction.
