At first, the idea of this project was to replace a BEU Heat Exchanger, used to heat up ammonia, with a similar one, but then it was decided that it should be replaced with a BEM heat exchanger.
The objective of this project was to developed the thermal design of the new exchanger with the new fact sheet and the new tube´s distribution. A horizontal TEMA BEM heat exchanger with four (4) flow passes and 272 tubes was designed.
The added value of our works resides is in the high technical qualifications of our team of professionals participating in each project, also in the agility and flexibility with which we face the constant challenges of a very demanding sector.
