Description
The objective of this project is to establish the possible causes that have led to the appearance of deformations in the upper shell courses of storage tanks.
The forensic engineering study was carried out on four (4) identical storage tanks, 25m diameter and 20m height, designed according to API 650 code, intended for olive oil storage.
After the completion of the construction of the 4 tanks and their commissioning, dents were detected in the walls of two (2) of the tanks.
