Description
After the internal and external inspection of a 60.9m diameter and 19m high tank, fabricated of SA-36 material (Carbon Steel), a 3D laser scan (point cloud) was performed to obtain the distortions and deformations of the tank. The project consisted of the analysis of the obtained data, carrying out a qualitative and quantitative validation according to the requirements of the API 653 standard.
The report included the inputs, considerations and analysis methodology, results obtained and recommendations.
