Description
Design, calculation and verification of lifting trunnions for a FCC reactor, FC-V-1 item, installed at the Sines de Galp refinery, in Portugal. The method used for the analysis was WRC 537 (local loads), using Compress Pressure Vessel Calculation Software, version 2018. A stress and strain analysis was also carried out by Finite Elements, according to the acceptance criteria of the ASME Code Section VIII Div.2. For the application of this method ANSYS Analysis Software v17.1 was used.
