For a non-standard flange made of carbon steel, material designation SA-EN 10028-2 P355GH, subjected to 75.000 pressure cycles (0-30 barg @ 60º C) for a lifespan of 20 years, the following verifications were carried out: Local Failure, Plastic Collapse and Fatigue.
Verifications were performed by means of FEA and according to ASME VIII Div. 2 part 5 code. A complete report was developed indicating design conditions, results, conclusions and recommendations.
