New firefighting system supports verification, for the new fire protection system to be installed in the Refinery.
A mechanical calculation was made using CAESAR II to evaluate the effects of the opening of the deluge valve (hydraulic forces in elbows), obtaining the reactions in the manifold supports. Subsequently, the 10 supports of the system were verified using Cypecad.
