Design and calculation of a pressure vessel subjected to internal pressure made of aluminium, material EN AW 5083 H-111, 16 barg of design pressure and 60º C of design temperature. The scope of the project was material selection, equipment design and calculation of all the elements of the equipment. Calculation were carried out in accordance with the European EN 13445 code. Additionally, the induced stresses during the hydrostatic test of the separator were verified.
