Description
The objective of this Project was to carry out the basic mechanical predesign of a 6000 m3 LNG bilobular tank to be installed inside a LNG Bunker Barge, for budgetary purposes, so the client can estimate the fabrication cost.
The report included the proposed configurations & thicknesses and the results of the FEA análisis, carried out for different load cases such us plastic collapse, longitudinal, transversal and vertical acceleration, local stress, buckling, testing and lifting.
