Description
The purpose of the project was the mechanical design and calculation of two shell and tube heat exchangers, for the replacement of existing equipment. The analysis of all the components has been carried out, from the point of view of the stresses and thicknesses required according to the design conditions.
The equipment was calculated according to TEMA + ASME VIII-1 codes, including the shell, heads, nozzles and tube bundle. A mechanical report including the design recommendations was developed.
