The project consisted of the design of a Shell and Tube type cooler. Gas circulates on the tubes side, which arrives with a temperature of 900ºC and a pressure of 10 MPa. Due to these design conditions, and to avoid the use of high alloy materials, a design with refracted sectors was developed to mitigate the effects of temperature.
A technical report was delivered collecting the received information, design conditions, results report and recommendations.
