Description
The evaluation of four (4) converters under heavy operating conditions was carried out, specifically for the elements comprising the entire drive train. The analysis was developed to verify the structural integrity of the components, for which a thermal and stress verification was carried out by means of FEA. Likewise, the gears were verified according to ISO 6336 and AGMA 2001-D04.
This study was carried out to validate the current design and to propose the changes/modifications required to guarantee a safe operation.
